First and foremost, thanks to everyone who has read every update of this story since I started publishing it three years ago—it really means so much to me! And if you're a reader who read the story later, I thank you as well! While I am sad to let Michael and Makeda go from my writing hands and imagination, they have screamed at me to let them have their "Happily Ever After" in the land of MJ Romance Fanfiction! Lol! As I've always stated, I let the story write itself, and when Michael and his leading ladies tell me to put the pen down, I put the pen down! That being said, this story is the most detailed story I have ever written, and it took me a long time to edit and publish it every 3-5 weeks (and a month when I moved to a new place). In the midst of writing this story, I was battling my own personal storms. However, with prayers to God and trying to remain positive—writing this story was good for my mental health; it helped me concentrate on something else other than what was plaguing me at the time. Things are better now, and I'm very grateful to God for the many blessings I have received. Sorry for getting so personal, and I know these are only Fanfiction stories, but for myself and many, not only are they a way for us to remember and honor Michael's legacy, but they also help some of us cope when life is "lifeing"—they provide escapism, just as MJ spoke about.

Blessings,

Midnight 💜🌛

Hey Midnight, thank you so much for sharing your journey. Our mental health is no joke and we need time to take care of ourselves in all aspects of our lives. I am happy that you took the time to take care of yourself. Life sometimes can be hard on us specially women. We are the nurtures of the world. Your stories about Michael are very well written and gives me the escapism I need. Especially when this world is driving me batty. Stay blessed and keep believing in the Most High God.🌹Moonwalker Cindy😎

Awww, thanks for the kind words, Cindy! You're such a sweetheart! Yes, mental health is so important and mine was tested greatly. I'm still feelings the effects of what I went through but I'm also grateful to God. Though I went through a terrible time, I was also grateful to escape it rather quickly and be blessed. However, the negative mental effects linger. But with prayer, I'm determined to not let it get me down. And yes, as women, we must be especially kind to ourselves...society isn't always easy on us. I'm happy that you enjoy the stories and think they are well written--I try so very hard! And I'm even more happy they give you escapism! Sending much l.o.v.e…
